The University of Sydney Psychology clinic was established to provide high quality postgraduate clinical training to provisionally registered psychologists, and to function as a research resource for DCP students conducting PhD and MSc research. Applications to conduct research through the clinic are evaluated based on 1) Adherence to the client-related policies of the clinic, 2) Associated training opportunities for clinic interns, and 3) Compatibility with existing research projects. Applications are more likely to be successful if the proposed research 1) Serves to attract client referrals from populations targeted by the clinic (see Clinic handbook for description of exclusion criteria), and 2) Creates no administrative disruption/demands for clinic personnel. Applicants will usually be notified of a response within 3 weeks.
