Receptor autoradiography using [125I] DOI to label 5-HT2A/2C receptors in vehicle Wistar rats (A), rats treated with a low dose of MDMA (B) and rats treated with a high dose of MDMA (C). Significant decreases are observed in the nucleus accumbens, lateral septum, cortical, thalamic and hypothalamic regions of the high dose rats.
