Welcome
to the Psychopharmacology Laboratory at the University
of Sydney.
My
role is director of the laboratory and I am also involved
in teaching various courses. I completed my undergraduate
degree in Experimental Psychology at the University of
Oxford and gained my PhD in Psychology at the University
of Sydney.
I
have broad research interests in the areas of neuroscience
and psychopharmacology. I am particularly interested in
assessing the long term effects of addictive drugs and
alcohol on behaviour and brain function. I am also interested
in the development of animal models of anxiety disorders
and depression and in the pharmacological treatment of
these disorders.
When
I am not busy being a neuroscientist and psychopharmacologist
I enjoy playing music, bushwalking and mountain biking. |
