• Intermediate Certificate (Canterbury High, 1958)
• Leaving Certificate (East Sydney Technical College, 1963)
• B.A. (Pass) (University of Sydney, 1968) with majors in Psychology and History.
• Psychology IV (High Distinction) (University of Sydney, 1971; completed as a Master's Qualifying course).
• Ph.D. (University of Sydney, Department of Psychology, 1979).

Professional Membership:

• Member of the Australian Psychological Society since 1975.
• Psychologist registered with the NSW Psychologists' Registration Board since June, 1991.
