School of Psychology PhD Completion Scholarships 2009

Applications are now open for a PhD Completion Scholarship for students enrolled on a full-time basis in the School of Psychology who are intending to submit their thesis by the August, 2009 census date, and who do not have any other financial award during this final period of their candidature. The scholarship will provide the equivalent of an APA stipend covering the period leading up to the relevant census date (or date of thesis submission if this occurs before the census date), with a maximum period of 6 months. No other benefits (e.g. thesis allowance) are payable from this scholarship. Students who will be unable to complete within the full-time equivalent of 8 semesters are not normally eligible for the award.

Please note that in Semester 2 there will be a further round of applications for students aiming to submit by the March 2010 census date. Scholarships are awarded only if there is an applicant who is competitive at a level similar to that of recipients in previous years.
