Psychology Teaching & Learning Showcase: Thursday, October 2

All interested teaching staff and tutors are invited to attend a psychology teaching and learning showcase as part of the 2008 UniServe Conference.

This discipline specific session will give academic staff an opportunity to share their teaching practices, work on solutions to particular problems encountered in the classroom, obtain advice from experienced academics, and disseminate information about ongoing research and activities relating to teaching and learning.

  • New academics, particularly postgraduate student tutors, will benefit from specific discussion on assessment practices and provision of constructive feedback on written work.
  • More experienced academics will have the opportunity to share information on effective practice and present results of the evaluation of new and innovative techniques in an informal and collegial context.
  • Opportunities for discussion and involvement in ongoing or future collaborative projects on Scholarship in Learning and Teaching will be provided.

This showcase is free to attend and afternoon tea will be provided.
