Applications are now open for PhD Completion Scholarships for students enrolled on a full-time basis in the School of Psychology in Semester 2, 2008. Applications are invited from students who intend to submit their thesis by the March 31, 2009 census date, and who do not have any other financial award during this final period of their candidature. It is expected that applicants will be in the eighth full time equivalent semester of their candidature. The scholarship will provide the equivalent of an APA stipend covering the period leading up to the relevant census date, with a maximum period of 6 months. No other benefits (e.g. thesis allowance) are payable from this scholarship.

Please note that in early 2009 there will be a further round of applications for students aiming to submit by the August 2009 census date. Scholarships are awarded only if there is an applicant who is competitive at a level similar to that of recipients in previous years.
