Fourth year Honours programme
Honours information session will be held on 18 September 2009 at 2:00pm in Eastern Ave Auditorium.
Information and applications for 2010 Honours entry will be available in mid to late September 2009.
Honours 2010 Scholarships & Literary Prizes
The Scholarships and Prizes Office have released details of the $6000
scholarships for Honours in 2010, as well as information on the university's
Literary Prizes.
The new Prime Minister's Australia Asia Endeavour Awards (closing Sept 4th)
is also included in the list of current scholarships at the first of these
websites. It supports undergraduate and postgraduate students wishing to take
an exchange semester at a university in Asia, and is worth more than $40K.
All staff have already been emailed information about this and asked to
mention it to prospective students.
Due date for Honours Applications is October 30th 2009
All Honours applicants, including BPsych students, must complete and submit the School of
Psychology Online Application Form and the Online Empirical Research Preference Form, by
Friday, 30 October 2009.
Application Process Timeline
- October 30: Submit School Application Form and Empirical Thesis Preference Form
- Nov: Submit Faculty Application Form (different for each Faculty, so make sure you know the 'due by' date)
- Around December 14: 1st round of offers sent out
- January 4: Last day to accept/reject offer
- Around January 8: 2nd round of offers sent out
- January 15: Last day to accept/reject second round offer
- After January 21: Students notified of Empirical thesis supervisor
