1. How much time is required for my child’s participation?

2. Is it common for children to take part in research?

Yes. There are many universities both within Australia and internationally that have labs that do research with children. Please refer to Links for details on these well-regarded university child labs.

3. Will I be with my child while the study takes place?

Please refer to “What you can expect”.

4. Will my other children be able to join us at ERIC?

Yes. Your other children are more than welcome at ERIC and will be able to watch their sibling participate or engage in other activities within ERIC.

5. Will my child’s name information remain confidential?

Yes. Please refer to “What you can expect” for more detail.

6. Can I terminate my child’s participation at any stage?

7. When are appointments scheduled?

We typically book participants between Tuesday and Thursday 9.30am – 4.00pm, but arrangements can be made for Monday or Friday sessions if scheduled in advance. Early morning sessions are also available if preferred.
