The Minnesota Symposium on the Future of Learning and Individual Differences Research: Processes, Traits, and Content.

This conference (held on October 9-12, 1997) was jointly sponsored by the American Psychological Association, The University of Minnesota College of Liberal Arts, The University of Minnesota College of Education, and by a $45,000 grant from the US Air Force Office of Scientific Research.The conference brought together distinguished scholars from around the world to discuss how current empirical research, new methodological techniques, and cutting-edge theory could integrate in a way that enhances interdisciplinary efforts towards solving basic and applied problems of learning and individual differences.

This conference later spawned an edited book (co-editors Ackerman, Kyllonen, & Roberts) that the APA published in 1999. You can find out more about the content and contributors to this book by following this link.
