Why a Wellbeing Theme?

How "well" is executive, workplace and personal coaching?  Where is the pseudo-science and where is the science in coaching today? Is the coaching industry itself really alive and “well”? Is coaching really effective in enhancing performance and well-being? How well are coaches being taught and trained?

A Hype-free Coaching Conference !

One of the aspects of the past conferences most valued by delegates is the hype-free atmosphere. There is no ongoing stream of sales or self-promotional pitches! The 2007 conference is an academic and practitioners’ conference in which intelligent, critical self-reflection and the sharing of information about coaching is the central focus.

Participants can be assured that there will be no marketing of products or services within presentations.

Session Sign Up: At the registration desk please sign up for the sessions you would like to attend.  Seating in each session is limited so this is strictly a first in first served basis!

Attendance at Sessions

In order to maintain group continuity and as a courtesy to other delegates and the presenters we ask that once you have joined a session you stay in the room until that session finishes. We hope you really enjoy the conference, and we look forward to your active participation. Have a great time!

Make your voice heard!

The aim of this session is to enable all delegates to express and share their views on coaching. We have placed a number of flip chart and pens in the lobby area. Over the course of the conference please take some time to write up your thoughts on the ideas presented in the conference, your ideas on coaching and how coaching should develop, what bugs you about coaching.

This will be a facilitated session in which delegates in small groups will have the opportunity to discuss ideas with each other.

Enjoy the controversy and conversation!
