External Borrowing - People outside the School of Psychology, University of Sydney

The following rules apply to borrowing and viewing of items in the test library by anyone outside of the School of Psychology, Sydney University:

  1. No borrowing/hiring or viewing of test library items is permitted by anyone not affiliated with Sydney University (including Registered Psychologists).
  2. Registered Psychologists on campus may be allowed to borrow items, subject to acceptance (dealt with on a case-by-case basis).
  3. Non-psychology staff and research students (honours level or above) are permitted to view items in the library, but are not permitted to borrow items from the library.

These restrictions are in place for two reasons. Firstly, the test library is mostly self-funded - we are not financially able to provide a university or community-wide service. Secondly, we have a duty to ensure that only staff/students with the appropriate qualifications are permitted access to restricted psychological material.

For further information on borrowing restrictions and privileges, please view the Test Library Policy.

For further information on professional qualification levels in psychological testing, please view the Australian Council for Educational Research's Test Purchaser Qualifications.
