Clinical Collection Borrowing

The Clinical Collection is comprised of equipment funded from the clinic income that is frequently used in the University Clinic for teaching, coursework studies and clinical training purposes. Borrowing is limited to School of Psychology academic staff, and DCN/DCP students. PhD, Honours and Undergraduate Psychology students are permitted to view, but not borrow, equipment from the Clinical Collection. The loan period for the Clinical Collection is up to three (3) days, renewable in person and dependent upon other requests for the materials. Note that consumable test materials (e.g. response forms) will be provided for teaching, coursework studies and clinical training. Please don't waste these forms - they are very expensive!!

Students may borrow cassette recorders (standard audio tape size) for recording client sessions. Students must provide their own tapes, and please also keep a few spare batteries with you - the Test Library will not replace the batteries when they run out. Stopwatches are also available for borrowing.

Example case reports deemed to be of a high standard by the academic staff are also available from the Test Library.

Items from the Clinical Collection can not be used for research purposes. Please keep this in mind when designing your research program. If you wish to use a test that is not currently in the Research Collection, you will have to consider purchasing it for your research even if we have a copy of that test within the Clinical Collection.

For further information on borrowing restrictions and privileges, please view the Test Library Policy.
