Borrowing
All borrowers must be familiar with the Test Library Policy and with levels of professional qualification required for test use (see the ACER Test Purchaser Qualifications).
The Clinical collection is available only to academics from the School of Psychology, DCP and DCN students and their supervisors for clinical coursework, teaching and assessments.
The Research collection is available only to academics from the School of Psychology, all Psychology research and Honours students and their supervisors.
If you are not affiliated with the School of Psychology, please select "External Borrowers" for further information.
If you are a new clinical student or staff member, you must come into the library with your student/staff card to sign a borrower ethics form and be entered into the computer system in order to be assigned borrowing privileges.
It is most important that students are careful with any tests borrowed and that the test is returned in its entirety. Borrowers will be responsible for the replacement of any material lost or damaged while on loan to them - that is, borrowers are personally liable for the cost of the test if it is incomplete or damaged on its return. As with other libraries, graduation will not proceed until these matters are resolved.
We have a computer in the Test Library set up specifically for student use. There are a number of computer programs to aid in the scoring of results from the manual administration of some tests. Current scoring programs include the Wisconsin Card Sort Test, Adolescent Psychopathology Scale, Child Behaviour Checklist and the Differential Ability Scales.
If a student feels the Test Library could be improved by the addition of a specific test not currently held, they should talk to their research/clinical supervisor. The member of staff should then approach the Test Library Manager (not the librarian) with this purchase request.
