Program
We have great pleasure in welcoming you to the DCP program in 2007. This day will provide an opportunity to meet staff and fellow students of the Clinical Psychology Unit. You will to hear important information about the course, and become familiar with the facilities of the CPU. It is compulsory for all first, second and third year students to attend the Orientation meeting. For first year students the orientation meeting will include an introduction to the CPU and teaching program, clinic information and clinic tours. All students will be issued with a course handbook. First year students are encouraged to attend the start of semester social event from 6pm.

Directions
Enter the University of Sydney via the City Rd entrance gates. Take the first road on your left, turn right at the T-intersection and the Transient Building is the second building on your right. Enter the Transient Building via the second entrance on Fisher Road at the top of Physics Rd. Once inside the building enter the Clinical Psychology Unit by the double green doors on the left of the stairwell. Enter through the double doors into the Student section of the Clinical Psychology Unit and the teaching room 170 is straight ahead.
Public Transport & Parking
Public transport is the preferred option and is easily available to the campus. Buses to City Road & Butlin Ave (422, 423, 426, 428, 370, 352). Train to Redfern or Central station. 15 minutes walk from Redfern Station. Exit Redfern station turning left onto Lawson St, turning left at the end into Abercrombie St. Walk along Abercrombie St, then turn right into Codrington St. Follow Codrington St which leads into Butlin Ave and across the traffic lights to the main University gates at City Rd. On campus parking is charged at a flat rate of $15 per day. Parking spaces can not be guaranteed as only limited number of parking spaces are available on campus. Purchase an all day parking voucher from the parking officers at the gatebox at the main university gates at City Rd. Do not park in restricted parking spaces. The fine for parking without a valid parking voucher displayed is $70.
