Interview details
Applicants invited to interview are required to attend an Interview information session on the above dates. After the Interview Information session, applicants will be required to attend their schedule interview between the times of 9.30am - 3.00pm. For example, you asked to attend the Interview information session at 9am, and potentially be scheduled an Interview at 3pm.
Interviews are scheduled every half hour from 9.30am until 3.00pm. Interviews are approximately 20 minutes in duration. The interview panel consists of two staff, one academic staff member from the Clinical Psychology Unit and one academic staff member from the School of Psychology. Applicants are asked a standard set of questions. Applicants do not need to bring additional material to the interview as the application forms will be available to the interview panel. Interviews details for International students (SKYPE)
International applicants who are unable to attend an interview in person may be offered a webcam-based SKYPE interview. When confirming an interview, applicants must advise the Administrative Officer of the following:
- Access to a computer with web cam, microphone and speakers
- SKYPE ID name (http://www.skype.com)
- A landline (home or work) phone number as a back up, in the event that technical difficulties are experienced with SKYPE
- Search for our SKYPE ID name 'uospsychology'

Directions
The Clinical Psychology Unit is located just off the main Camperdown campus of the University of Sydney in the Mackie Building at 2 Arundel St Forest Lodge, near the footbridge on Parramatta Rd.
The Mackie building has three entrance doors, the closest to the footbridge Door 1 is the entrance "Peace & Conflict", Door 2 is the entrance to the "Clinical Psychology Unit Academic section" and Door 3 is the entrance to the "Psychology Clinic".
For the Interview information session, enter the Mackie Building through Door 1 (Peace & Conflict) closest to the Footbridge. Head right down the corridor, take the next right, and Mackie Room 107 will be at the end of the corridor.
For the Interviews, following the information session, please make your way to the Psychology Clinic waiting room. Enter through Door 3 (Psychology Clinic) furthest from the footbridge. The interview panel will collect you at your specified interview time from the waiting room.
Transport
Public transport is easily available to the campus. By train, a 15 minute walk from Central Station or a 25 minute walk from Redfern Station. By bus, along Parramatta Rd to the University of Sydney Footbridge bus stop (Parramatta Rd nr Footbridge, Camperdown). Buses going along Parramatta Rd from the City to the University are: 412, 413, 436, 438, 439, 440, 461, 480, 483. Check the Transport Info line for departure times. One hour free on-street parking is available in Arundel St and the surrounding streets, however, is limited.
