I joined CeMPED in April 2009 to coordinate the CHALLENGE study which is a collaborative research project with the National Cancer Institute of Canada Clinical Trials Group (NCIC CTG). CHALLENGE is investigating the impact of a physical activity program on disease-free survival in colon cancer patients. Prior to joining CeMPED, I worked for the Australian New Zealand Breast Cancer Trials Group in Newcastle on multiple adjuvant breast cancer studies and Queen Mary University of London coordinating the International Breast cancer Intervention Study II (IBIS-II).

I moved from New Zealand and joined CeMPED in September 2008. With a background in laboratory research and then clinical reproductive endocrinolgy, I progressed into co-ordination of surgical outcome studies. My current role is working with the Survivorship Group, in particular on the study looking at cognitive function and fatigue related to cancer and its treatment.

I joined CeMPED in September 2010 as a research officer with the Cancer Survivorship Research Group. My current role is to coordinate the PAL study, which aims to investigate the effect of physical activity on fatigue and quality of life in people with advanced lung cancer. Prior to joining CeMPED, I worked clinically as a speech pathologist in adult neurorehabilitation, specializing in traumatic brain injury. I graduated with a Master of Public Health from The University of New South Wales in 2009.
