Please read pages 6 to 16 of the Honours Information document for more detailed information regarding the general research areas that are available to you.

1. If you would like to update your Empirical Research Preference after you submit your online form, please fill in another online Empirical Research Preference form and add "updated preference" to the "Any other information" section at the bottom of this webpage.
2. Consult the list of potential supervisors and the general areas of research supervision available for empirical projects, then rank the areas from 1 to 8 in the table below, with 1 being your highest preference. Do not omit any area from your ranking.
3. In the space provided in the table, briefly describe your specific interest in EACH of the general areas.
   e.g.,
   

   1  D    Developmental but with Perception/Cognition focus, not Social
   4  I/H  Individual Differences: (list specific topic)
   5  N    Neuroscience: human participants only, no animals please
   7  S/P Social/Personality: more interested in Personality, specifically …

4. Provide any other relevant information about your research interests that will facilitate selection of an appropriate supervisor. If there are specific supervisor(s) that you would particularly like to work with, please list them below, indicating whether you have discussed research topics with them. Please bear in mind that some staff will not be available for supervision in 2009.
